When you use the Our Neigbrhood mobile application or website, under agreement with Everyth1ng is Connected (PTY) LTD, you trust us with your personal data. We are committed to keeping that trust. This notice applies to users of Everyth1ng is Connected’s subsidiary and affiliate products or channel platforms from anywhere in the world, including users of the Our Neigbrhood app, website, features, or other services.

By using the Our Neigbrhood mobile application, website, features, or other associated services, you consent to Our collection, storage, processing and disclosure of Your Personal Information on the basis set out in this Privacy Policy.

 

3. Information we collect

In Your Use of the Our Neigbrhood mobile application or website, We may collect and store the following Personal Information:
• Name, surname, address, email address, location and contact information. • Correspondence via email, in-app notification and/or information relating to transactional or servicing activity via the Our Neigbrhood mobile application or Website.
• Mobile application or website connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the Application or Website channels, IP addresses and standard log information.
• Bank or card account details in order to purchase products or receive payment.

4. How we use personal information

At the outset we would like to give You the comfort that You will always own Your Personal Information and that we do not sell Your Personal Information to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

We use, disclose and share Your Personal Information only as follows: • To identify you;
• To analyse Mobile application or Website usage and to improve the Goods and services offered;
• To track and deliver the purchased services;
• For planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity;
• By disclosing Your Personal Information to third party service providers appointed by Us in order to enable Us to provide the desired services to You, and who are bound by these same privacy restrictions;

In addition, We may disclose Personal Information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties as We, in Our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose Us to legal liability, or in connection with a merger, consolidation, or sale of Our assets.

You are entitled to opt out of any disclosure of Your Personal Information to a third party or use of Your Personal Information for a purpose incompatible with the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorised by You by emailing Us at support@ourneigbrhood.com

We automatically collect information and data through the use of Cookies. “Cookies” are small text files a website can use to recognise repeat users, facilitate the users’ on going access to and use of the Website and allow a website to track usage behaviour and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements and targeted advertising.

• Remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Website;

Our databases are protected from general personnel access both physically and logically. We encrypt Your password so that Your password cannot be recovered, even by Us. All backup drives are also encrypted.

8. Access to, Correction of and deletion of Persona Information?

You may request Us to correct inaccurate information via email at support@ourneigbrhood.com. We will require that you verify you are in fact the owner of such Personal Information. Once the changes are made, We will notify you by email at your nominated email address. If there is any Personal Information not accessible via the mobile application or Website that you wish to have access to for purposes of correcting, please contact us at support@ourneigbrhood.com.

• If you dispute any personal information collected by us about you and such information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified, we will promptly delete or modify such item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the investigation.

• We may, in compliance with applicable laws or if we are unable to verify your identity, refuse you access to your Personal Information and in such circumstances, We will tell you why access has been denied.

• We will keep your Personal Information for as long as we are obliged to do so under South African law. Such information will always be maintained under the same security and privacy controls that are in place for other users of the mobile application or Website.
